I found this poor guy on my porch this morning. He was freezing so I made him a nest of old newspapers and leaves to help warm him up. When I left for work he was gone. I hope he flew away with his bird friends.

Tools of the trade

This was a great weekend for music. My band got to back and record with Omar Coleman. He is an amazing singer and harmonica player from the west side of Chicago. He is the real deal and made us feel like real blues men. We were playing everything from Al Green to Little Walter. Twelve hours of great music and friends.

Not the best pictures but the content is there. It will be weeks before those smiles will disappear.
