It's actually got a lot of the principals of good aesthetic design.
That is to say, the circle is offset and bold in colour while there are also other more subtle elements to make up the overall design. Balance is used well, shape, layout and colour are also there.
From a fine arts perspective, this would make an amazing painting. Which means it's an amazing photo.
